One who grows up to be a writer has feelings and experiences for which she may not yet have discovered words.
As a child, I observed the power of language to move me. I write because stories spin around my head, to remember people in my life and places, to honor where I’ve been. I want to touch tender places in myself and express them, so we may all heal. I hope my words prompt people to listen to their own unique lives and find space to honor them and their own creative impulses.
